Narcan

According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), more than 90 Americans die everyday after overdosing opioids. The misuse of and addiction to opioids is a serious national crisis that affects public health as well as social and economic welfare. In response, one of the main priorities of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and National Institute of Health is to promote the use of overdose-reversing drugs, such as Narcan. Narcan counteracts the life-threatening effects of opioid overdose.
