Personal Protection

Personal Protection (PPE) is extremely important when dealing with traumatic injuries. When dealing with a situation where the blood is not yours, the care giver should don their personal protective gear if the situation allows for it. This protects both the care giver and the patient and can be done in the form of items such as gloves, face masks, and eye shields.
